A collection of photos from the 2023 Summer
The goal of this summer is to spread the word and share the stoke of riding the trails at the Uenuku Pines MTB Park.
The mountain biking scene and community is growing around Ruapehu and so is the demand for more adrenaline based, single track trails - exactly the type of trails the Ruapehu Mountain Biking Club love and want to ride!
Over the past 6 months the club has been working hard to maintain existing trails that were not effected by the 2022 logging and build new mountain bike trails, which we achieved with Boost and Loose Chain. Thank you to the amazing work by local trail builder and club president - Greg Prouse, and the support from all our club members and supporters. The recent funding we received from Trail Fund NZ, Ground Effect NZ and Mitre10 played a big role in helping us purchase trail building tools and building Loose Chain.
Are you a keen mountain biker who lives or visits the Ruapehu area? Are you stoked to ride single track flow trails? Do you want to see the trail network at the Uenuku Pines MTB Park continue to grow and develop? If so, we would be STOKED for you to join our club, yearly memberships are only $15.00 to $25.00 and the funds from memberships go directly into the trails at the Uenuku Pines MTB Park.
Thank you for taking the time to check out our club's website and blog, enjoy the collection of photos from this summer at the Uenuku Pines MTB Park. Want to see more content - especially video clips? Make sure to head over to our Instagram and Facebook accounts and give us a follow, and tag us in your photos and videos too!
Cheers,
